As we go into the winter months many of us have an urge to move toward what some would call comfort food. Such as mac n cheese, heavy sauces and creams, stuffings, etc,.. We must fight this urge to stack on these added pounds unto ourselves. We don't need these foods to keep us warm. As a matter of fact this is an awesome opportunity to do an internal cleanse. Yes, I said it!! Don't worry this is not very difficult to do. We all should try to do a quarterly cleanse. This is a great time to prepare your body for spring. Remember, we discussed the "You have the power to heal yourself'" so if you are having problems with weight, headaches, high blood pressure, aches and pains here and there, and everywhere, this could be exactly what you need. You don't have to run to the health food store and get all types of ingredients I bet you already have everything you need right there in your kitchen. For a nice flush I take 3 to 5 days, each morning on an empty stomach drink a quart of water and 2 tsp of sea salt. Drink the old faithful lemonade diet through out the day (lemon juice, grade A maple syrup, cayenne pepper) and a cup of smooth move tea right before bed. Don't worry after the 3 to 5 days is over you feel so clean you may not even want to return to food. Ofcourse we must but be very mindful about what you put in your stomach. And the next time you want to something to keep you warm and comfy, offer yourself a nice cup of green tea. Ummmmm!!!
